Accuracy matters on a health site. When we find or learn about a mistake, we correct it in the open. This page is our public record of corrections, and it explains how to report an error.

Corrections log

No corrections or clarifications have been published as of October 6, 2026.

When we publish one, it will appear on this page, newest first. Each entry will show the date, the article with a link, what was wrong, and what we changed.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Correction request," or use the form on our Contact page. Please include:

  • The address of the article.
  • The sentence or section you believe is wrong.
  • Why you believe it is wrong, and a link to a source if you have one.
  • Your email address, if you would like a reply.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your report within 2 business days.
  2. We check the statement against our sources and, when needed, against newer guidance.
  3. We send you our decision within 7 business days. If we need more time, we tell you why and give you a new date.
  4. If your report is right, we fix the article, add a dated note to it, and add an entry to this page. If we disagree, we explain why and link to the sources we relied on.
